INTEGRITY GROUP TO ATIKU’S COALITION: YOU CANNOT RESCUE WHAT YOU DID NOT BUILD – TINUBU REMAINS UNSTOPPABLE IN 2027

The Integrity Group of Nigeria, also known as the Renewed Hope For More Agenda Ambassadors, has issued a firm response to the recently formed Coalition for Project Rescue Nigeria 2027 led by Ismaila Abu Ishaq. According to the group, this coalition—comprising political defectors and former supporters of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC)—represents a desperate and opportunistic attempt to remain politically relevant. The Integrity Group argues that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu remains the people’s mandate, driven by a credible vision, outstanding performance, and a progressive national agenda.
Rejecting the Credibility of the Coalition
The Integrity Group dismisses the so-called rescue coalition as a gathering of “disgruntled political jobbers” with no moral authority or historical credibility to claim ownership of Nigeria’s progress. The group emphasizes that these individuals, many of whom were active participants in previous administrations that allegedly contributed to Nigeria’s economic stagnation, cannot be entrusted with the country’s future.
According to the group, a genuine rescue mission must be led by those who have contributed meaningfully to building the nation—not those who have been complicit in its decline. It accuses the coalition leaders of engaging in acts of political betrayal, having formerly supported APC policies only to switch allegiances in pursuit of personal political survival.
Fuel Subsidy: A Symbol of the Past’s Failures
A central point in the group’s critique is the issue of fuel subsidy, which it describes as a fraudulent system that crippled the nation’s economy for decades. Under past governments—particularly those aligned with Atiku Abubakar and his allies—the fuel subsidy regime was maintained under the guise of protecting the poor, while it was allegedly exploited for private enrichment.
The Tinubu administration, according to the Integrity Group, has taken the bold and necessary step of dismantling this regime. Rather than maintaining a status quo that drains public funds, the government is redirecting those resources into sectors that directly benefit the Nigerian people, such as infrastructure, healthcare, and education.
President Tinubu: A Movement Beyond Politics
In the eyes of the Integrity Group, President Tinubu is not merely a political figure; he represents a broader movement grounded in resilience, reform, and national rebirth. His leadership style, marked by strategic vision and firm decision-making, is seen as essential to Nigeria’s long-term development. From stabilizing the naira and attracting foreign investment to reviving domestic industries and improving public sector efficiency, the group believes his reforms are already yielding visible and tangible results.
The group further stresses that these reforms are not merely administrative actions but are deeply transformative—targeting decades of institutional decay and mismanagement.
A Nationwide Grassroots Machinery
The Integrity Group asserts that it possesses an unmatched grassroots network with strong organizational structures across Nigeria’s 774 local government areas. This network, it claims, is fully mobilized to secure 15 million votes for President Tinubu in the 2027 general elections. The group maintains that its reach extends from the creeks of the Niger Delta to the plains of the North, from the industrial hubs of the South-West to the agrarian communities of the Middle Belt.
In contrast to the coalition’s media-oriented campaigns, the Integrity Group says it is focused on grassroots engagement and community development—delivering real impact rather than rhetoric.
Contrasting Performance with Political Rhetoric
While the opposition coalition is accused of recycling political narratives from the past, the Integrity Group insists that the Tinubu-led administration is focused on results. The group criticizes Atiku Abubakar and his allies for relying on outdated political tactics and attempting to rebrand themselves as agents of change despite their historical involvement in policies that contributed to Nigeria’s economic woes.
The group argues that Nigerians can now see a clear distinction: while the opposition plays politics, the current administration delivers results. It believes that the electorate will vote based on demonstrated performance and not on empty promises.
A Direct Message to the Opposition
The Integrity Group delivers a clear and uncompromising message to Atiku Abubakar and his coalition partners: “You cannot rescue what you helped destroy.” According to the group, Nigerians are more politically aware than ever and will not be misled by alliances formed out of convenience and ambition rather than a genuine desire to serve the nation.
It warns that the electorate will not fall for what it calls “repackaged propaganda” from political actors who have previously failed to deliver when entrusted with power.
Looking Ahead to 2027
In conclusion, the Integrity Group reaffirms its unshakable support for President Tinubu’s administration and the Renewed Hope Agenda. The group declares that the 2027 presidential election is already shaping up as a referendum on performance versus political opportunism. It expresses confidence that President Tinubu will emerge victorious based on his administration’s achievements and the loyalty of a vast support base.
The message is resolute: “PBAT all the way. Integrity is our identity. Victory is our path. And Nigeria is in safe, capable hands.” With these words, the Integrity Group closes its statement, leaving no doubt about its stance and its readiness to defend its vision for Nigeria’s future.
