INTEGRITY GROUP COMMENDS GOVERNOR SHERIFF OBOREVWORI ON TWO YEARS OF TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP IN DELTA STATE

The Integrity Group of Delta State, under the distinguished leadership of Dr. Oke Idawene, National Convener of the Integrity Group of Nigeria (Ambassador of the Renewed Hope) and Barr. Offiah Felix, PhD, Secretary of the Delta State Chapter (The MORE Agenda and You Matter Charity Foundation Ambassadors), heartily commends His Excellency, Rt. Hon. (Elder) Sheriff Oborevwori, Executive Governor of Delta State, for his outstanding achievements and visionary leadership over the past two years.

Governor Oborevwori’s people-focused administration, driven by the MORE Agenda, has brought about meaningful transformation in Delta State through massive infrastructural development, social empowerment, and inclusive governance. His firm commitment to continuity, equity, and sustainable development has reinvigorated public confidence in governance and democratic dividends.

The Integrity Group notes with satisfaction the Governor’s remarkable execution of critical projects across the three senatorial districts. Among these are:

Reconstruction of Upper and Lower Erejuwa Road, Warri South (Completed)

Construction of Orere-Ewu Bridge, Ughelli South (Ongoing)

Reconstruction of PTI Road, Effurun (Ongoing)

Agbarho Township Road Rehabilitation, Ughelli North (Completed)

Umutu-Obiaruku-Abraka-Eku Road, Ukwuani/Ethiope East (Ongoing)

Okpanam-Ibusa Bypass (Completed)

Ogbogonogo Market Storm Drainage, Asaba (Ongoing)

Several completed and ongoing road and drainage works in Sapele, Effurun, Asaba, Okpanam, and Ogwashi-Uku

Stormwater drainage system at Osubi, Okpe (Ongoing)

Solar-powered street lighting along Airport Road, Warri (Completed)

Construction of hostels at Dennis Osadebay University, Asaba (Completed)

Development of Asaba Waterfront City access road (6 lanes) (Ongoing)

Construction of Orerokpe Campus of DSUST, Ozoro (Ongoing)

And numerous other projects spread across communities and LGAs in Delta State, too numerous to mention

These projects, along with human capital initiatives such as skill acquisition programs, enterprise support, and grants, have contributed significantly to youth empowerment and socioeconomic upliftment across the state.

Despite the daunting task of governing a diverse and multi-ethnic state, Governor Oborevwori has demonstrated resilience, inclusivity, and results-oriented leadership.

As we mark this two-year milestone, the Integrity Group congratulates His Excellency and encourages him to sustain this commendable momentum. We are confident that the coming years will yield even greater results under his capable and people-focused administration.
